Albert Mitchell, son of John Jerome Mitchell, son of Albert Gerome (Rome) Mitchell, son of Albert Wesley Mitchell, son of Stephen Mitchell, son of Morris Mitchell attempted in the 1970’s to map the cemetery on one of his visits to Polk County. Many, many of the graves at that time were unmarked and this was also prior to GPS locating systems.

Nonetheless his work is appreciated and Steven Mitchell, currently treasurer of the cemetery has possession of the map. This listing of graves and dates does not include those who have been recently buried–as since the 1970’s. Here is a link to the pdf of the list of older graves.
